Lets keep corruption out of our government & big business.

91% of voters on SABC Interface objected to the disbanding of the scorpions - yet the government is still determined to go ahead! Is the Government saying our opinion as South African voters is only worth listening to at Election Time?

The Directorate of Special Operations (DSO) was formed in 2001 to investigate high-level crimes. It was deliberately placed under the control of the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) rather than the South African Police Service (SAPS)

When Mbeki first announced the formation of the DSO, he described it as "a special and adequately staffed and equipped investigation unit...to deal with all national priority crimes, including police corruption."

In recent years the Scorpions have levelled charges against high profile individuals such as politically-connected businessmen, politicians like ANC president Jacob Zuma on corruption charges, and also recently charged National Police commissioner Jackie Selebi on corruption and defeating the ends of justice.

You can make a difference in South Africa 's future!

The ANC are determined to destroy the most effective corruption-busting force in the country.

Doing away with the Scorpions will do incalculable damage to SA's criminal justice system.

It would destroy a great deal of our ability to tackle organised criminal activities .

All South Africans must join together to fight this short-sighted and disastrous decision which is purely motivated by political concerns.
